Administrative Professional

The Takoda Institute’s accredited Administrative Professional program prepares graduates to work as administrative assistants, office managers, receptionists, and other similar occupations. Students will gain knowledge and skills in data management, word processing, project management, interpersonal communications, and more.

Program Length- Six months
Start Date- October 4, 2017
Course Times-
Course times vary, but take place primarily during the hours of 8am-6pm, Monday through Friday.
Credits- 30
Financial Aid-
Pell grants and scholarships fully cover books, tuition, and fees for qualifying students. Assistance completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid is provided.
Employment- Students are provided with individualized career support including assistance job searching, developing résumés, cover letters and LinkedIn profiles, and preparing for interviews.
Career Information- According to the Minnesota Department of Employment & Economic Development, Administrative Assistants are the 29th most in-demand occupation in the Twin Cities metropolitan area and are paid an annual median wage of $40,126 (December, 2014).
Accreditation- Takoda’s Administrative Professional program is accredited by the Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges and is a WIOA certified training.
