In addition to public financial aid, the Takoda Institute offers a number of different scholarships to support the financial needs of its students. Low Income Scholarship
This scholarship covers tuition for low-income students enrolling in the IT Services Management or Project Management courses or the Administrative Professional or Health Information and Patient Services Specialist training programs. This scholarship is made possible by a grant from the Minnesota Job Skills Partnership Board of the Minnesota Department of Employment and Economic Development.

Minnesota Legislature Scholarship
This scholarship is made possible by an appropriation from the Minnesota state legislature. Scholarships cover some or all tuition for certain short term courses.

This scholarship is underwritten by the City of Minneapolis and is for Minneapolis students who are pursuing their Computer Support certificate. TechHire is a program of the City of Minneapolis that seeks to close the region’s tech labor gap by building a path for diverse workers to access training, support, and tech jobs throughout the region.
